Re: The Country Grill
At the Kinaree buffets the most popular drink was water often shared between husband and wife.
As for the food it was gluttony at it's finest. Including the wife with a plastic bag lined handbag.
How Ooy made money on buffets I'll never know but she must have or she would have stopped it.

Speak politely.
Think however you like.

Re: The Country Grill
^ It was a similar event at The Roadhouse when Len the Aussie had it.
He put on a weekly Pizza special. Any Pizza for XX baht (forget the exact price). His original intent was that regular customers would make advantage of the offer once a week while enjoying some drinks.
What he found was the people who came for Pizza special would only come for the special and never come any other time. They would always order the 'Roadhouse Special' which was the most expensive pizza by far when normal price, and like Steve mentioned above people would share a bottle of water. Also quite often they'd bring the whole family, order 2 Roadhouse special then order a 3rd to take away.
Len actually lost money on each Roadhouse special so ended up excluding it from the promotion and people stopped coming

Re: The Country Grill
Haven’t requested the restaurant but in ages.
Anyone no if it’s still primarily buffets for the daily specials?
