Ok 1/10 of the food will be tacos, thought it would be exclusive with all sorts of combos with a biz name like that, nevermind

Re: Woodhouse Fish & Chips
Disappointing, I could have done with a couple of professional tacos.
I’d also like to see a Subway. Nothing screams healthy diet like 12 meatballs in a loaf of bread

yes confusing ? mind you didn't make sense running two places doing the same thing in the same area. seemed like a lot of work to me.
my personal thoughts about franchising is it can be good , but mainly a nightmare. you have to be positive about it but also watch for the pitfalls too.
you actualy have to keep control of the franchise , they f**k up meals and it reflects back on you. if they serve a bad meal it reflects on you. also are stuck with a menu you cant add to unless the other place adds it too.and on top of that if the chip shop has a nine page menu you need to stock exactly the same. what do you do if the franchise starts getting bad reviews for food, or turns more into a bar with girlies and banging music, what if they start ripping people with dodgy bills. or like the guy that purchased a few pies from us , next thing he created papa farangs on the internet as his business ffs, too many issues . you'll notice products in cheese to meat you are labeled Dean's pies not papa's. simply put if i do have good reputation, a poor franchise wont be good for my reputation. when making a franchise look at how they are put together too, KFC-chicken, McDonalds-burgers ,pizza company....well you get the idea, simple menus, simple stock control.

Re: Woodhouse Fish & Chips
Don’t think they’re franchising. I guess they got a deal on the Woodhouse site before the lease at the Country Grill was up. They then moved lock stock & barrel.
I remember ages Nok said the landlord at the old site was a right pain in the ass
