I went down Soi Sampan to drop off Mrs N & was surprised to not see any 4th July festivities. Everywhere just look normal for a Friday night

We’ve just walked round the ground floor in Central & they’ve got one of those food events on. I started sampling at the first stall & continued round. Never mind ballon chasers this the future. I’m stuffed & we spent zilch, nada, zero

I got a huuuge pasty from C2MU. I had to fold it so it fitted our air fryer which has recently upgraded to a bigger one.
Pretty sure it was one of Deans creations but the label was missing.

We went into AKA in Central while The Girl was in Yamaha Music School. It’s one of those places where there’s a grill on the table & you get the kitchen to bring your food selections out from an app on your phone.
We quite like it. Don’t think I’ve ever had a bad lunch there.
What surprises me though is why isn’t it as popular as the other places? Shabushi were doing their usual shouty queue numbers, MK had people sat outside, Sizzler didn’t appear to have any tables free but AKA never got more than half full while we were there. Strange

Yes. I used to like the huge New York pizzas. Me & The Boy would share. They only do 9” & 12” now.
Mrs N brought most of her seafood cocktail home. I can’t stand the thousand island sauce so she knows I’m not likely to eat it.
She had spaghetti Kee Mao & she was struggling how spicy it was. I only had a bit & that burnt my mouth
