Not a very appetising looking plate of underwhelming food.
On looks alone I certainly wouldn't be going back for more.
I've never enjoyed the Clock as it has no atmosphere.

It was all luke warm except the sausage. The bacon had to be snapped & shovelled with the fork.
Mrs N had a seafood noodle soup which was hot. Both dishes were served together so maybe someone had to pop out for some seafood while mine was already plated.
฿275 is a lot more than before isn’t it?
Need to try the Brickhouse & see if theirs has changed.
I didn’t recognise any of the staff from either the clock or Brickhouse before

I have just had it pointed out to me I didn’t picture the beans in one of those silly ramekins.
Sorry for any distress caused

I can’t remember black pudding but now you mention it I remember the little bowl of fruit.
The Clock now has decent toast not the wafer thin stuff Fred got from 7-11

That looks bloody lovely and would make a wonderful pairing with a dark breakfast beer.

My current breakfast beer of choice is a Modello Negra or a Corona Familiar.

I could smash that right now.
Currently at Hams MIL with nothing at all to eat. If fact I’ve only managed 1 of my numerous morning iced coffees. Getting a bit irritable

That shames any of the posted restaurant breakfasts.

Really brunch but we stopped at a recently opened PTT station opposite the Nong Han DLT. There’s always a Cafe Amazon & reasonably clean facilities in a PTT.
I’d parked at the top end because if The Girl sees a 7/11 it’ll cost me ฿500.
Walking back to the car I was beckoned to a new little pop up bakery. Me & The Girl sampled their wares & they were outstanding. Various cheese rolls, sausage & cheese rolls & bacon. I think they must be part cooked & they pop them into a huge glass front oven when ordered so they are lush.
Unfortunately I don’t know how long they’ll survive. They’re right at the opposite end of the station forecourt to regular stalls, 7/11, Cafe Amazon & washroom facilities. so probably not get much passing trade. They’re also pretty expensive by Thai standards, ฿45 for quite a small bread.
