Good Everything Restaurant, Udon Thani.

Went today, opens from 11am.Chose usual table at the front outside looking out to Prajak lake,no other customers.
Has always been near high end price but good food.
My Bill :-
Water 15 baht
Yam Woon Sen Sea 120 baht
Garlic Bread 70 baht
White Snapper 350 baht
Lamb Stew 350 baht
Blueberry Cheesecake 70 baht
Large Leos 105 baht

Some plusses and minuses since last been there. As you can see, probably the most expensive place for a large Leos in town!
Blueberry Cheesecake more stingy now than before.

The Phillipine lady has gone home according to staff there because of the expiry of her Visa, will be missed as she was always friendly courteous and remembered us.The previous Phillipine man had gone back about 10 months ago.
The white snapper however was a larger size than previous and the TW was stuffed,The Garlic Bread same again, larger than before and excellent. The Lamb Stew was ok,came with rice and was filling but worth less costwise.
The Yam was a tasty starter according to TW.

For regulars to the Restaurant, dissapointed that the Pork Chop and the Apple crumble with Ice Cream were not available on the menu and as these are my regular eats there, was a shame.maybe just a temporary thing at the moment for them.
They have expensive Penfold red wine Bin available, cheapest bottle 1300 baht.I took my own and no corkage fee.
Sorry LA no pictures to show, must try better.

Overall am sure the menu prices have gone up,website exceedingly slow upload and we went on the spur of the moment to Good Everything.Xmas decorations are up and tastefully done inside the Restaurant. Will repeat and choose White Snapper next time but definately no Leos

Good post :!:

Its good to see a comprehensive report giving detailed appraisals of the food on offer, both good and bad.

I have only been there once, maybe 3 years ago, and found it to serve excellent food, but as you say very expensive, but I suppose its the old saying, "you get what you pay for"

Once again, good report <:> <:> <:>

Yep excellent report Pomps <:>
Been a couple of three times and never been disappointed, the food is really good although top end price. Had the sirloin steak one time and like many others I am always reluctant to order steak in Thailand but it was on par with many a decent restaurant in Falangistan.
Great place to take that special someone for a romantic dinner.

Normally have a meal there every 3 months. From my judgement the snapper portion was a farang size,TW passed half over to me as could not eat anymore.Lamb stew in my judgement should have been valued 250 baht and the blueberry cheesecake looked as if it had been on a diet! The Garlic is advertised as a baguette but ended up as 3 very large and filling bread slices with a good amount of Garlic topping and was good value as a side dish.A standard Garlic bread size comes with the snapper as part of the meal.

I do wonder though why quote in the menu for the Pork Chop 'not available' when all the main supermarkets stock them.Missed the apple crumble and ice cream,in 3 months hope to eat both :D

Crikey, having a dig in the old Bar & Restaurant thread & this seems to be the only one still going. Think it’s changed hands a few times though *****

In 2006, this is the first Udon restaurant I went to. I liked the food, but the cockroaches running around, not so much. Whoops, maybe I have mixed up this restaurant with the Chinese one Mae Something. It was the Chinese one that had the vermin.

Maybe I have never been to Good Everything ** ** **

My bad, I've mistaken this for Good Corner.
Is that map on the Facebook page correct? It shows the restaurant as being outside the ring road on HWY2 in the Nong Sung area
