so what's the quality of the table(s) out there? haven't played 8-ball in years myself but this
652 place sounds like it might have the right ambiance to play a friendly game without
knife fights or death threats involved. >:<>)( and what time do they normally close? i mean
do they have a regular schedule? opening around 13:00 and closing approx when? i stopped
over at nutty park and it was just ...blah. a bar that shall remain nameless had 2 girls sitting
at a table and i plopped my prematurely old arse down and bought a round of fruit juice. *****^^
still putting their makeup on at 7pm? i asked when they opened and they said 2pm? so what
are they just returning from a short-time? hey, i can have an interesting conversation with
homeless people but i was struggling with these two? quality of the help is questionable.so,
i chugged my watered down OJ, left them enough of a tip to feed themselves and beat feet. <>><:*

Don't worry Cali, as you are an early riser I'm sure you don't have to worry about closing time. *****^^ Table is good quality, I have hazy memories of winning a game on it.

thursdays and saturdays won't disappoint, always i nice group of people there. open at 12, fairly prompt, i think, but if wanting food, might give them an hour to wake up....
...never a bad bad night or incident, and nobody takes the pool shooting serious. the table........well, it has a few quirks, but labelled properly and easy to 'follow instructions / rules'......
always a fun day, late afternoon / early evening for me, James is a pleasant host and Nok is in charge of the cooking. if hungry, order as soon as you get there, as all made to order fresh, so may take a bit longer than some places......never had a meal that wasn't very good ++)(* the gals aren't the most talkative, but also not intrusive or pushy at all. ++)(*
closing time usally around midnight, unless empty, then earlier.....been there too many times at or past midnight

you're not kidding about that either, it's rare that i'm out after sundown <>><:* i suppose that
should keep me out of trouble, not that a middle-aged bald guy limping about town who suffers
from prematurely grumpy "aznyron syndrome" is going to get into trouble but it's true if i drink
at all it's usually in the afternoon to get my "second wind" *****^^ pitiful really, although i have
noticed with the cooler weather my stamina is increasing. "( went on my monthly visit to the
gym yesterday and i can already tell i'll be sore for the next 3 days. why didn't i learn to play golf. *****^^

On Thursdays, everyone gathers right at or just after the evening meal, so those who turn in early still get to enjoy the foolishness and Cliff's ladyboy impersonations (which usually don't start until after his 2nd Leo yai).KUNGFUGRIP wrote:you're not kidding about that either, it's rare that i'm out after sundown <>><:* i suppose that

Golf may not be much better than the gym, KFG.
