yes, that would be it, as i asked Steve what it was when i saw it on the menu listed as 'potato scallops', as in the states, we have 'scallopped pototoes, more of a sliced baked potato in creamy / cheese sauce, depending on taste. so explained what it was, battered taters ...... sounds tasty, as i also like, when available at some places, the battered or breaded mashed potatoes deep fried. can you tell i'm not a fan of rice...........

In the states there was a pizza joint called Shakey's, they served batter taters called mojo's. Damn they're were tasty.
