Talking of D&N , whilst staying in the Pannarai , my room overlooked the private car park at the side of D&N and which is the back of the Bars , sitting on the balcony and having a ciggie it was amusing watching the Ladies climbing in and out of the windows to get in to the back entrance of various bars , it was also amusing watching some farang men doing the same and some girls coming to and throw several times , seems an awfully strenuous way to keep popping out for a bite to eat or something they forgot -wouldn't it have been easier to walk out the front ;-)

Music can be annoying if not to your liking, it's not just the Thais what can badly manage a bar, my local has just been taken over by new management and their kids serve behind the bar, sit on their backsides. plating on ipods or phones, pour shit beer, and put dreadful rap or whatever shit music they call it nowadays.
I said to him yesterday, after a song was on with some effing and jeffing, "You can't play music like that, there are normally kids about" 'Well it's programmed in" was his reply, so i supped up and went for a beer elsewhere.
At least in Day and Night, all the bars play the same music through their sytems which are all linked up with each other, a good variation too.

Yes I believe that was the case but it has reverted back to each bar having its own sound system… ** I never did use that place much… Not likely to ever again… :!: Full of ugly brain dead “whoooooa’s” and “falang’s” that behave like sheep… Baaaaaa… Baaaaaaa…. ;-)

the (1) kathuy bar? no , no , my friend .there are more like 7-8 bars over there that employ them at
D & N. and were told patrons want their services and yet....the place remains strangely deserted

the bar I refer too was all katoeys, blasting music and doing the 'look at me' routine. next to a decent bar, and across from another friends bar. bad location for both of them. they would of succeeded in NP

jokes aside reporter guy , every single time ive ventured into the D & N arcade
the ladyboys braying like donkeys and chasing potential patrons around has
caused a quick exit. you can find decent sit-down places in nutty.without LB'S

is there any decent bars on Udon nowadays (sorry this should be it's own topic) but D&N is crap and last time I was in Nutty it was not much better with samlor drivers pissing in the soi and stinky bag ladies begging for money.
..how hard can it be to open a decent bar!!!

i guarantee you , if that were a thai beer garden place, 5-6 staff would sort those
unsavory types out right quick if hassling patrons. tuk tuk sleaze included. :!:

and for some perspective, was reading about 1,500-2,000 baht bar fines and 3,000-5,000
fees for current crop of damsels at some of patters finer a go go's :? two week millionaires only.
and one reviewer complains his visa card was overbilled for ladydrinks

Yes there are decent bars in Udon, no matter where the locality is, if you are going to see the patron of the bar or meet friends it's does not matter one iota to me.
