just spoke to Kevin yesterday, he's well happy with the training that Andy has given his family , bloody marvelous job ++)(*
"a decent chap all at sea in a chaotic world not of his own making"
Menu details are on their facebook if anyone is interested, hoping for a tenderloin in front of me by 10.30am one day, good to see they cater for early risers like myself
Andy has been blessed that they seem interested to learn
Guinea fowl that Kev has plenty, so an interesting change to Turkey, back up nz ribeye, aircon environment, smokers enforced outside, good all round place to go IMO
If price is so important to you and no aircon then am sure an alternative can be your xmas dream place.me orf to Bangkok every year so Turkey, banter,a cigar and a 30 yr old single malt is my cup of tea
Had my usual friday night buffet there last night, always good. Maybe a trifle more expensive than other places, but as Pomps says, not just the food. And always someone to talk to, if you want. I go about twice a month.
The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.
Just to amend my last post, seen an update re their xmas offerings and roast turkey has been added ,same price,so even better selection on the day, happy eating
Missed the post on UM,the regular Friday buffets have stopped, think their full menu has been a success and gets better spending from the customers, sometimes buffets just do not generate enough profit, was selling it cheap though at 300 baht for a lot of eating to be had
Am sure now and again the Indian buffet will make an appearance as that was extremely popular but the weekly format has finished, will see Andy on Sunday for my sunday roast Lamb at Chris place so will see what plans he has
