good luck to the guy, as good as my Sunday lunch was I was competing with the gallery and Chris place. Not much money in it and hard work. Not for me to piss on people's dreams but ploughing millions into a property you don't even own is madness, not like if it don't work out you can leave and take the pool with you. The place worked for me as a base for my pie business. It was good for that. Plus we didn't employ anyone so no staff bills, no costly and time consuming pool to take care of either. Anyway I wouldn't have bothered with this thread, listened to gossip and made me laugh, but when shite like this is said I got to put people right. As I said 30,000b electric bill, yeh right. Not that good at swimming either

. Oh the old lady that ran into my car did a runner, cost 50,000b to repair and gave up as police never even asked her name and appears the police never even recorded it FFS.

Thats not him hams, have no idea whst he looks like
Surprised deans customers go there if the owner is spouting utter nonsense,if needing a swim for the local residents like myself ok will pay 50 baht but am not a pretty sight in my speedos, hopefully children in hansa use, will ignore any more claptrap as took it as gospel, think deans customers need to vote with their feet and drink chang elsewhere

Good to hear from you Deano.
I've no clue who this Jay guy is but who eats a Sunday roast at his own restaurant without wearing a shirt!
Phil had just been in for a dip and promised not to slop hot gravy down his guts
As for Jay would have to have a speed camera to get a pic of him
like a blue arse fly
also wonder why he is not more follicle challenged with all his grief

Only spoke to a couple of people, Sunday lunch came out late but that's to be expected as he's just starting. But one customer had a real complaint. He went on opening day and realised he was charged 100b per beer. I said it was probably the girl pocketing a bit.
First bit of advice if you want to run a restaurant.... Don't employ bar girls. If you want a bar then employ bar girls. Next bit of advice.,..learn to do everything yourself.
Sounds like he has staffing problems, that issue will never go away in nearly 20 years I only ever found 3 competent staff. All of them quit to be with Farang.

Hansa longtime ago had special days with a swimming coach but hansa then was half the size it is now, spending up to a million baht on renovation, needs all the 50 bahts he can get to pay back his investment
Understand he has pump problems as well another cost, not to worry as guaranteed 50 baht from phil every week
Really need their own facebook page, would help get more swimmers in,who knows apart from hansa it has been renovated, ruysuk does the fb page really well, gets the families in
Maybe thai families put off by daily chang drinking farang in there so will not work,fb and advertise only way imo, been here nearly 19 years so deduct how long ago dean moved here then get to know the clubhouse about a year before that was left to piranha fish to take over
Was lovely in the early years, landlord licking his lips, free renovation and unless he has signed a long contract, will find his yearly rents going up more than inflation

All depends what is Jasons business plan, just cater for drinkers daily, flat earth society meets friday and a farang sunday roast so menu geared to farang more than thai,at least get one farang after a few changs can do a bellyflop so guaranteed 50 baht a day.
If it was the plan to cater predominantly thai families, predominantly thai menu, main investment is the pool there, get fb up n running, show prices of swimming, kids and main menu, pict of the pool and its kids pool and hardsell.
No idea not met him,no fb so no idea which business plan he wants

I was reading through some Udon Groups last night & it looked like he’s only just created a Facebook profile. Someone was clearly helping him advertise.
Even the location was a picture of someone else’s phone

What a load of bollox, Jay broke the deal, went to the landlord behind my back 6 weeks before it was due to be handed over. He was warned but didn't give a f**k he just wanted in at any cost. The shit I've heard from him is unbelievable. Apparently I murdered a Thai woman and was last seen swimming across the Mekong escaping Thai police. The baby exit is just crying because he's realised he just wasted a couple of million. . Anyway who cares, just another idiot thinking he can change the rules on how things work in Thailand. As for 30,000b in electric bills, think about it, how long can you have a bill unpaid to the PEA before they come and take your meter away, daft twat.
I wish anyone good luck with what they try to do. But after finding out he's just a gossip with nothing better to do then f**k him. I gave the landlady 10,000b to cover t he bills, electric was 9000b ,water was 3,000b. But not sure as these bills turned up weeks after I moved out.as far as I'm concerned I owe 2,000b for water although no one can give me an actual bill.
Anyway enough of the bullshite.
Lie 1 I paid you the amount you were asking for so no going to the landlord behide your back.
Lie 2 You did not pay your power or water bill up to the day I took over.
Lie 3 You pissed and stone the Saturday I took over and you crashed your truck into someone and did the runner back to Hansa.
That is why there were no police involved.
We had a deal where you were going to use me as an outlet but because of the outstanding bills which you refused to pay, I did not want anything to do with a liar.
