interesting, for "over easy" that is to say the white part cooked but the yellow yolk runny we have

Lord H; I think you have one too many suk's in your transliteration. The Thai script reads 'Kai dow suk daet".

Sorry to be picky. Slow morning for me.

Besides that, I could be wrong. I only read Thai nit noy and the wife's not around to confirm.

I've never had a good fried egg in a Thai restaurant in 9 years. Always cooked in oil that's way too hot and then usually left to go cold.

shado it's that duplicative thing. like "dee" or "dee-dee", or "dee-dee-dee"
in truth there is a special symbol ( สุก ๆ ) you can see it after sook there that is supposed to indicate
repetition. (1) sook means cooked fully so why would you need two but there was sook-sook in
the material i referenced so i'm afraid that omission was pilot error while navigation on VFR *****^^

Okay Lord H. I see what you are saying. The maai ya mohg symbol (ๆ) was inadvertently omitted in the Thai text. That would explain the missing suk.
