I often get a craving for fish, chips & mushy peas but after eating them always wished I'd not bothered.
...there is a place called the 'Weatherby Whaler' on the ring road in York which is always full of coach loads of OAP's attracted by the free Tea and extra portion of bread & butter. Not recommended.

SNAP....!!!!

not sure if you also experiance this but....when someone else has them you really fancy it..even having a chip and a bit of batter and fish and it always tastes so much better than when you go and buy your own. :(

They are best eaten at the seaside, any other time and they do tend to the disappointing end of the scale!
I'd rather put a camp fire out with my face

I nearly never eat fish sandwiches at any fast food outlet. I rarely eat anything at a fast food outlet. However, a couple of weeks or so ago we were at Tesco Nee Dee with some of our little nieces from the village and they wanted to eat KFC. I opted for the KFC "crispy fish sandwich" and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't too bad. I'd order it again under similar circumstances.
