My fashion tip when you buy shorts is to always buy the baggiest shorts you can find so when you meet a bird she can't see what you are thinking.

i was always afraid to buy chequed shorts for fear i would commit a fashion faus pas *****^^ subsequently i must get plain colors with the stretch waistband from the preecha market for 200B :hai:
i see that guy that sells t shirts over there has some big sizes again. XXL EURO is more than comfortable XXL THAI is like for a 12 year old boy :lol: even there button downs at preecha, 3XL still too small :x

Thank you so much-- to be put in the same dress category as Fred Astaire is indeed an honour. In the dance category however I think Ginger Rogers was a better dancer. She did the same as Fred but did it moving backwards in high heels.

what we seem to be missing downtown is like a QUALITY bar & grill like shenanigans in patters?
comfortable seating, tables available, big screen TV nice decor, pert waitresses in tidy uniforms :!:
i suppose the old mojo's was leaning in that direction, maybe the clock does as
well just gazillions of franchise restaurants and silly coffee shops but not a single, new,decent bar & grill :wasntme:

Has anyone tried that wine bar in UD town? It is between lotus and the food part and is upstairs?

Yep,I've been a few times,Ham,and it is excellent.The food is good and they have some lovely wines as well as Weissbrau beer. ++)(*
They have live music on from about 8.30pm but its more like western jazz/blues than Thai style......in fact the whole place is more what you would expect in Sukhumvit,Bangkok than Udon.
Its open from 5pm till midnight.They have beer/wine promotions from 5pm-8pm.....used to be "buy 1 get 1 free" but I think now is" buy 2 get 1 free ??" :
Downside is that its a bit expensive.....you have 10% added to your bill plus 7% tax that can up the cost a bit.
But I'd say it was a great choice for a special occassion.....maybe with the girl of your dreams.....but dont tell the wife ! :lol:
