Well Steve was in th UK recently for health reasons and the people running the place in his abscence are not upto the job. Despite having reserved 2 rooms well in advance and having the reservation confirmed by Steve before his trip to the UK, I arrived after a 30 hour journey to find that the chap running the place had let both our rooms out *()(*^ and we had to go to the Silver Reef to stay. I've stayed at the Clock many times before and this has never happened when Steve was in charge. So, in conclusion, I reckon that if Steve's health is of concern, he's figured that he cannot rely on others to do the job upto his standard, so sell is the only option.

Just to stop any rumours from floating about as they do, here it is straight from the horse's mouth. We have put the Irish Clock SUB-LEASE up for sale, not because of the current situation in Thailand but because in the near future I have to go back to the UK to undergo a bypass operation on my leg, I do not expect Mali to stay and run the Irish Clock on her own as I know how hard it is to run with both of us here. As I will not be able to fly for quite a while after the operation this is the best form of action to take.
