That closed quite some time ago. I always thought the UDTown location was stellar, though probably pricey rent, but high traffic area, and seemed to do well there. Guess he realized that also now, after the 2 other adventures.

the one in makro didn't last too long, by the time I heard about it all there was left of it was a menu on the wall. trouble is there are plenty of pizza places now.

Forgot about that one, make that 3 since leaving UDTown. Check that, 4.

Makro
Mill Park
Sinchaithani rd
Phosi Village

Preecha was a good location, as was / is UDTown. The rest, too many, failed miserably. Along with his attempt at 'USA Food' franchise.

Hope he stays put and offers same menu as before, for pizza anyway, as a decent alternative to Pizza Co.

Just noticed this Piccolo Roma branch in UD Town so it’s 3 months in

Actually, the first thing I noticed was a shop just before it called Piccolo Roma Deli

When I came here, it was one of the only places that served Italian food and was acceptable, but in all honesty the best place to buy a Pizza until he closed was Monkey bar in Nutty Park, run by Dean ( papa farang Fame ).
Since then many other places have opened up and serve acceptable pizzas , so although Piccolo has been here a long time with their constant moving around and lacklustre offerings, I am really surpised he is still here.

Vittorio sons birthday today so had to pop in,some free food.large prawn plus I think Vottorio said was Vongole, tagliatelle with baby clams, customary bread to clean my plate,no corkage for my wine.Vittorio looking and talking much better now after his mild stroke in February.business ok not special but they make enough, paid 300 baht for the pepperoni pizza takeaway, never the cheapest but can definitely taste better ingredients than some pizza places around town.
If not happy go to pizza hut but enjoy chat and banter with Vittorio, not going to get that with a Thai manager at PH

Best make a note here, they left UD town a couple of weeks ago to go back to the Chateau, gave up trying to keep uptodate with all their openings around town chasing customers, would have been best just staying put and properly using FB to draw customers in,Thai majority.anyway he is not getting any younger, and Andrea is doing much more cooking these days, see what happens next week for my visit 8-)
