The last 2 christmas day meals at my local had people just turning up on the day expecting food and leave moaning when told sold out.

Hope this year this does not happen, gallery does not do xmas day anymore but this year the roaving expats can go to woodhouse, loads of timings and availability, get 2 hours to wolf everything down before told to move on as next load need feeding. 8-)

All the pubs in my old town if open on Xmas Day & New Years Eve used to charge for tickets.
I always thought it was a bit of a liberty for charging everyone who’d used the pubs the other 363 days a year.

But this is thailand :lol: some expats not want to put a deposit down for the xmas food and then must spend ages going around different establishments to just pay on the day,200 baht outlay to commit sometimes is just too much for them :lol: people just turning up for the atmosphere,drinks and free chocolates always welcome on xmas day no charge :lol:

Tried to get my Marks and Spencers food delivered to york for next week. First available delivery Dec 28th. FFS i forgot you can't do f**k all last minute at xmas :roll:
