Can you freeze dumplings?

I'm asking for a friend.

You can freeze both cooked and uncooked dumplings. When I make chicken and homemade noodles (basically dumplings in noodle form) I just ladle them from the pot into plastic freezer boxes. Before reheating I let the box of chicken & dumplings thaw overnight in the refrigerator and then just put them in a pot or in the microwave. If freezing individual dumplings it might be best to separate them on a cookie (biscuit) sheet (edges not touching) and after they have frozen put them into plastic zip-lock bags. Cooked dumplings can be added to the stew either frozen or thawed.

As the man says, good for cold weather days, I love stew with dumplings as much as I do Masaman.

Good lookin' plate. Hope you had a bit of gravy to add as needed. I used to really enjoy Mali's chicken cordon bleu and cottage fried potatoes at T-Bar. Cordon bleu and those hearty potatoes are a great combo. I had beef stew today.
