Why I don't have Thai bank accounts. If out of local area, they even charge you for depositing money into your account.....WTF.

" interprovincial deposit" but banks at home fees also

Really. I would never use a financial institution that charged me fees to deposit / withdrawal my own money, that they use to make money. That's just silly.
Always free ATM card, free checking, w/ free checks. I can't remember last time I used a bank though. USA, always credit union or brokerage.

did u read the story of swiss guy & wife returning to thailand
to find their bank account drained? crikey 500k gone
