I took this in December 2007 on a trip to Chiang Mai. This is north of Chiang Mai looking over the Burmese border.

Great picture, I like the different shades of blue. Was this a 'by accident' shot (like most of mine) or did you go out of your way to get this image?

We were driving back to CM from Fang and I liked the view, so I stopped the truck and took the piccie. I've always liked those Oriental paintings of mountains in this style and thought it cool to actually see that view for real.

im also confused with I A photo , as nice as it is . its the title thats thrown me ! officialy a ship is only a ship if its more than 150 feet long , smaller than that its considered a boat , unless of course they changed it during decimilisation . and night fall is generaly when the sun has gone below the horizon , which in this case it hasnt . ><><>< as ever roy you are correct . however i did when i was a child , and remember distictly the excitement i felt when my sock was filled with crap on chrimbo morning . some memories never fade . like the first time i got a stickey finger in the back row of the gaumont cinema with janet beck . happy days . :lol:
