With all this beer drinking I've been doing, it seems I no longer fit into my astronaut suit. NASA's grounded me citing the additional cost of launching my fat ass into orbit -- not to mention the wet-bar I've requested for the orbiting module. That re-entry phase is a 26-hour kick in the ghoullies; a man needs his refreshments.
I'm going to take up crochet, instead. I can make sweaters and hats and sell them at the market.

I think you'd be better suited to taking up voodoo Gigs. It might be in your genes too.

I can't say you practising voodoo would make Udon a better place.

The crochet sounds very nice, but just to help you with your Brit vernacular I think you mean "goolies", which has a Raj origin like "pyjamas" and "bungalow".

"Ghoullies" presumably would be non-corporeal and unkickable.

^^If you could see my lil rasta twins, you'd agree they are ghoullies.

And it's not Brit vernacular. It's called English. More people use it in Nigeria than in England. :!:

Actually I was thinking about spraying for mosquito s the other day. I've never seen anyone doing that white mist spraying here. We get a roach / ant guy drives around the moo ban weekly. I'd happily pay them to spray for mosquito's if they did it.

Didn’t know you could spray for mosquitos. Don’t you put little pots around the house with those little fish that eat the mossie lava?
There was also an interesting thread on the other channel about using LED light bulbs outside as they don’t attract bugs & flies

Carrying a pair of those in your shorts might explain why you're so fractious. :@

If it's not Brit vernacular perhaps you could let these people know that they're wrong; I'm sure they'll be grateful for your input.

Your other claim? It's a moot point :!: as to what constitutes an English speaker, but most of them in Nigeria speak Pidgin:

To most native English speakers, I think the explanations would be almost as incomprehensible as the proverb in Pidgin.

You don't cite a source, but I hope it's more plausible than the Wiki page for "List of countries by English-speaking population".

This page states that there are more than 17,000,000 English speakers in Thailand, the same as Australia and more than South Africa. It's difficult not to regard that as also being specious.

You claim I didn't cite a source.
You then hope my source, which I didn't cite, isn't Wiki.
You then have a go at Wiki to "prove" what an unreliable source it is.

There's a name for this sort of reasoning fallacy.
