Wife got offered the triple door fridge this morning. Looks like a scramble to see who can sell the fittings off. A bit of a sad ending really.

Who would the rent be paid to? Ownership is getting a bit muddled.

Wonder what the rent is and more importantly will the land lord significantly increase it now that the premises have had a chunk of money spent improving them? :?

Maybe Papa Deano can comment on what the rent used to be when he first took it on 6 or 7 years back but I'm betting it wasn't anywhere near 20k per month!!

When sittarom had the swimming pool open for the several hundred residents it was 20 baht per kid and 40 baht per adult to swim all day. Apart from weekends it was dead all week and the coffee shop really struggled.

I don't know Jay and don't wish him bad but sounds a flawed business plan that was never going to pay the investment back.

I wonder if he’s trying to get someone to pay him the ฿20k/month rent ?

Probably should have been about 10k a month since he would have had the opportunity of 2 income sources, restaurant and swimming pool hence the rent increase 8-)

Nevermind a new renter will initially offer dining and sitting on the floor as well as around the pool until sourcing new tables n chairs 8-)
