I think that 110 bt for the buffet is more than a fair price if, it`s the same as was before served for free. ++)(*
In my three months here I have ventured in to Mojo`s two times for the wednesday pool comp. Both times been awestruck by the stampede to the buffet table.
While waiting for the pool comp to start I would get hungry too and want to try some of the delicacies served. Since I don`t like standing in line I`d just wait until everyone had their food and then walk up to the table. But ***** ... before the line would end, there are already people lining up for 2nd and 3rd helpings.
Eventually got some food and it`s been really tasty. <:> I will go more often now
I also want to thank the management of Mojo`s for the food.

For all the balloon chasers....you have got to look at it as still a free buffet....
but you are making a donation to a worthy charity cause, which means you can still fill your boots, Guts (And pockets) with food that will be replenished, and you will be helping out and doing your bit...and you can still 'nurse' that bottle of Nahm Yen, cup off coffee or bottle of pop, without raising suspicion....all's well that ends well. ++)(*
Here are some nice coloured balloons for those whose eyes light up when they see them..

I've had an idea as to how to make the most of Mojo's all you can eat buffet. Cunningly disguise yourself as an extraterrestrial, sure no one will notice, and make frequent visits to the facilities to stock up on the free gub in your oh so discreet hiding place.
Walk out like this and you will never need to chase another balloon, ever!

Lawrence, that's slanderous. You'll have the Mau Mau coming down on your ass in no time. Actually, he looks like one of those 9/11 conspirators. He'd have to use a lot of silver foil to cover his head.
Do you see a lot of conspirators in Mojos?

The Wednesday evening buffet is now going to be 110 baht and served on an 'all you can eat' basis between 7pm and 9pm. The food will be kept coming.
The whole 110 baht will be donated to Friends of Udon, which helps supports disabled children in the Udon area.
As has already been said, unfortunately the free buffet has attracted a group of "balloon chasers" who only appear every week for the free food, buy a coke or water, stuff themselves and bugger off.
The regular Wednesday evening pool competion players could often be bothered as a result to eat.
so "friends of udon" is a charity now?????

same question crossed my mine, wish someone could verify that, as i've heard positive things, and some negative things, all 2nd/3rd hand, so taken as bar banter.

The local branch of the Mau Mau society of Kampala must be an offshoot of the Kenyan Mau Mau Maulers Club, there all getting on a bit now. I guess we all can't be as old as you Westers to remember such travesty
Conspirators No... Constipators Yes!

Not me, Lawrence, I'm just a one-legged, four-eyed, fourteen year old who happens to read alot of books. I could have used the Lord's Resistance Army but Mau Mau rolls off the tongue more easily.
Enjoy your time in the hot, sandy place - always good for a suntan.

And who said romance was dead. *****
Here in Sandy hamlet next to Sandy town there's little chance of a suntan due to recent sandstorms, dries you out from the inside out. Could murder a cold one!
