Yes , still watching Little House.. , and there are a few Scandinavians pop up in some episodes, well 1 was in for many series of course, but further towns had a Scandi population.

Easily confused as Laura Ingalls Wilder lived in several of the northern plains states before moving to Missouri in 1894. She wrote the "Little House" books there but was writing about her early years of growing up on the western frontier. She died in Missouri in 1957. She lived in Mansfield, Missouri for 63 of her 90 years but wrote mostly about her life before marriage to Almanzo Wilder and settling down on the Ozarks area farm.

She was quite a girl.
They mainly seemed to have an apple for lunch at school, however the restaurant close by churned out MEAT and eggs.!! and lots of it.

"An invitation to submit an article to the Missouri Ruralist in 1911 led to Wilder's permanent position as a columnist and editor with that publication, which she held until the mid-1920s. She also took a paid position with the local Farm Loan Association, dispensing small loans to local farmers.

Wilder's column in the Ruralist, "As a Farm Woman Thinks", introduced her to a loyal audience of rural Ozarkians, who enjoyed her regular columns. Her topics ranged from home and family, including her 1915 trip to San Francisco, California, to visit her daughter and the Pan-Pacific exhibition, to World War I and other world events, and to the fascinating world travels of her daughter as well as Wilder's own thoughts on the increasing options offered to women during this era. While the couple was never wealthy until the "Little House" books began to achieve popularity, the farming operation and Wilder's income from writing and the Farm Loan Association provided them with a stable living."

The one in your picture doesn’t really look any different to a regular one to me

It’s bigger, it was larger diameter, whether they flatten the burger....nahhh they would not get away with that, so it’s heavier more meat bigger bun,bigger box, it's for big blokes, the junior Mac for kids and the regular for blokes who train spot and wear anoraks

The lettuce looked brown on the edges as usual & I’ll wager it spilled everywhere leaving you to scoop it up with your fingers looking like a heathen in public
