Having read the above comments I am duty bound to add that on every occasion that I have visited Nok has not been in attendance.

Nok usually comes in about 10.45am.

That in some way explains the poor service Rick, as I get there at opening time maybe 0930.

It has been awhile since I dined at the Bookhouse. Stopped in today to have lunch with an old friend.
Wow! Was I surprised at the new expanded photo menu. All of the old favorites still available.
However a whole range of new offerings. Too many to list all here, but a few things that caught my eye: Eggs Benedict w/ham or smoked salmon, wide range of creative omelets, sausage gravy on biscuits, liver w/bacon & onions, wide array of sandwiches, creative salads, etc. As I wrote, too many things to mention.
Good to see a Udon restauranteur "thinking outside the box".
Service was great!
Nok was there, I suggested to her to post the new photo menu on this thread, but she said her computer skills weren't up to par.
Hint-hint someone.

From Matt of the Bookhouse, posted on UM:

The Bookhouse wrote:If anyone is good at computer stuff, scanning menu and posting pics here, and if you have time I will arrange for a few beers or a meal or even both in exchange for your help, I'm in France with only a phone for net. Any volunteers??
A very generous offer. Only wish I had the skills, and equipment, to do it.

Got the time and equipment, little short on skills, so if wanting to drop by with someone with the latter, will provide the former;o)
