That's a good sized steak! At first thought they looked quite small until seeing it on the plate! Desperate Dan portion. :hugs:

Bought the tomahawk left hand side,if you order off the menu at least 50% more,give a decent tip for them to do for me no corkage on wine,lap up the free aircon,did a couple of app downloads on my mobile from their wifi,vittorio does load up the price on his wine but having 90% thai customers,not an issue with them,diana working for air asia now ,andrea the main chef as Vittorio slowing down.
Specials menu attached and, unless a regular,would think expensive but big plates given,thais there share plates,glass of eno at home now,darn full 8-)

Another fantastic looking meal from Piccolo Roma. 8-)

Never heard of the dish before but sounds great;
Ossobuco or osso buco is a specialty of Lombard cuisine of cross-cut veal shanks braised with vegetables, white wine, and broth. It is often garnished with gremolata and traditionally served with either risotto alla milanese or polenta, depending on the regional variation.
Never heard of the wine either but sounds like a great pairing with with veal;
Barbaresco is an Italian wine made with the Nebbiolo grape. Barbaresco is produced in the Piedmont region in an area of the Langhe immediately to the east of Alba and specifically in the comunes of Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive plus that area of the frazione San Rocco Seno d'Elvio which was once part of the comune of Barbaresco and now belongs to the comune of Alba. It was granted Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC) status in 1966 and Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita status in 1980.
I wish my Sundays were as good as your Pomps! :hugs:
