Verdict on Four’n Twenty beef bolognaise pies. Very nice, full of delicious beef bolognaise.
However deceptively smaller than I was expecting. Two pies would be about right but that makes them more expensive than regular pies at C2MU.

I also had some “rustic air fryer chips” which all I could tell was I paid more money for something McCain’s hadn’t bothered to peel

Campbell condensed cream of mushroom soup made with milk instead of water for that extra creaminess & about 300g of frozen (defrosted first) sliced champignon mushroom added to the mix.
Dipped with thick slices of fresh Tops wholemeal loaf.

This should fill a gap

I’m having a never ending supply of satays next door to this huge party.

A new Spanish tapas restaurant in KK appeared on my FB feed recently so, decided to give it a whirl being a fan of this type of grub.

Went last night but, sadly, the place was empty apart from ourselves.

The restaurant is set up in a Japanese Teppanyaki style with seating around the cooking area so you can watch the chefs in action.

The bill, including 3 Corona and a decent tip was less than £50 so, cheap by Western standards (but not by Isaan standards).

Food was exceptional and the service was friendly and attentive.

The staff told us that it seems the Thais don't really get Spanish food whilst, presumably, the price puts off the average falang.

Such a pity as, it would be sad to see a place such as this close. Photos are a paella dish and, their take on gambas pil pil. We also had some lovely patatas bravas and another dish.

Could do with a tapas restaurant in udon but maybe as you have said and its achilles herl if the locsls sre not interested then going to be a hardjob for the restaurant so in 6 months time see if still in business.

I’m having bananas, blueberries, strawberries with natural yogurt & a drizzle of honey.

I could murder pie & chips 🫤

I’ve just had a cracking Khao Soi from room service.

Mrs N has discovered a stall nearby that makes uncooked beef which is her favourite.
Happy wife, happy life.

I’m having an absolutely spiffing sarnie I got from Little Loaf this morning. Trouble is I can’t timber what I ordered. There definitely egg, bacon & cheese but something else I can’t quite identify
Also got a cranberry & walnut loaf which is great with just butter
