Eating out at Central Plaza. Your experience(s).

I like the Seoul BBQ restaurant. Reasonably priced, good BBQ meat and sushi. (And none of the hassles, walking vendors trying to sell you stuff, or swarms of flies like eating in the Thai outdoor BBQ restaurants.)
I am a little disappointed that they don't offer all of the little side dishes that you would normally get in a authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. Seems to be tailored to the Thai tastes.

I've ate there quite a few times and have never seen any customers there eating the BBQ Korean style, like this:

Sizzler and Mcdonalds are ok, would love a Burger King, a good salad at Sizzler is hardly expensive.

And that's just who these food outlets are geared to. Not us farangs. If a single farang never ate at the food court at Central I don't think it would have much of an impact on there businesses.

True., ex-pats and the occasional tourist never came into the equation when they where planning and building., its their country their planning.

I always liked the food court. The prices were not high, and there were many choices, and it was quick.The other food stop there for me is Swensons, and I always enjoy eating their ice-cream.

This reminds me those magnum ice-cream bars you get at 7-11 for 25 baht or so are $7 (220 baht) in Canada.

I pay ฿40 for the Magnum from the guy with the motocy ice cream cart that comes by the house each afternoon. Perhaps cheaper at 7-11. Actually don't get that one very often as I prefer the Cornetto Classico ( ฿25 for that one). Why so darn expensive in Canada?

Canadians must think it is some kind of gourmet food to pay prices like that. I stick to Laura Secord/Baskin Robbins for ice-cream in Toronto.
