2019, The New Year

I was thinking ( unusual you may say ) to myself today, sitting in the garden, so quiet and not at all hot, just pleasant, with a gentle warm wind blowing, that it felt as if everything was holding its breath , between Christmas and the New year, a period of peace and stillness, which in 4 days will be frantic activity to the start another year, again working, worrying and planning , the ups and downs of life as we know it .
So if you can take a pause in your daily life, just pop outside and study everything and think , knowing that whatever you do or not do, what you see, will still be there growing and dying in its cycle of life.

Just a thought no matter how this year has ended, like the seasons and even the weather, life is cyclical, we just occupy a mere speck in the Universe and it will continue with or without us.

Happy New Year to all Posters on this site . Stay safe, especially here if travelling .

This what the Christmas holidays are about: rest, relax and contemplate about life. It is no time to get all shook up.

2018 was a big year for Kim Jong-un. I think he might have skipped the beans, cabbage and sprouts and indulged in his customary top shelf food.
