last night I got on with something I never made before , Moussaka... for those that have never tried it, its greek lasagna , got a bit carried away, here's the ingredients list. discovered one thing...bloody expensive to make, but tell you what, lasagna never again, going to make it once a week. here's what it takes for just 8 portions . but I do have a few portions left today, so today moussaka with a mixed olive salad or fries 200 baht. if you can't make it here , give it a go at home..its worth it

recipe for papa's mousakka.
1kg egg plant.
250ml olive oil

2kg ground beef (kept it lean, less than 5% fat, ground it myself to make sure) (:)
salt, pepper ,oregano, tomatoes, tomato paste ( stock cubes optional )
500g onion...and as much garlic as you can handle.

500g cheddar cheese( that's why I had low fat beef ***** ) *****
200g cream cheese. *****

1kg potatoes boiled and sliced

1200 ml béchamel sauce , pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg

morning all, sunday lunch club today, comes round quick. roast chicken or leg of lamb today, pudding will be pineapple cake and custard, and as usual it's a feast with eat all you like, I love to hear customers "oh ate too much, off home to lay on the sofa". next week might change over to the summer menu as its getting a bit warm. Chinese went well ,even had to deliver a couple of meals to the bb resort last night so now every Saturday will be chinese ,but I might keep sweet and sour balls going permanently on the menu
