We were once told by a real estate chap that Hansa Village was built by a German developer for the German expat community. I suppose this could be somewhat true judging by the name.
As an aside, the same real estate chap took us to view a house just past Hansa Village. It was empty as most are & looked okay until I spotted a bullet hole in the patio window. Following the trajectory there was a hole in the living room wall over a suspicious brown stain on the grey floor tiles.
Apparently the hussban wasn’t around to discuss an offer

struth ,yesterdays lunch was crazy. squeezed a few extra seats in but full house by 12.30. even had a couple of guys leave as it was too crowded , their seats were taken up in seconds by people waiting for seats. next saturday i expect large crowds. good news was we had plenty of food to go around. Today supposed to be a day off, so down to the gallery for the best brekkie around and the rest of my day making mince pies. no rest for the wicked as they say.
