Kao Piak Sen

Post by Niggly » Thu Sep 05, 2024 9:08 am

Crikey, this place gets through the customers every morning.
Two mini buses of nurses turned up just as we were parking the car but they made room for us upstairs (didn’t even know there was an upstairs)

A nice Vietnamese rolls for starters followed by a pulled pork sub with pickle slaw (I just made that up) & smoky hot sauce.

Egg coffee
Didn’t notice any egg but the cinnamon was just right.

Do they serve weasel or chocolate coffee?
Speak politely.
Think however you like.

Possibly. They’ve got such a selection of coffees there is now a coffee menu. However, I didn’t pay much attention as I homed straight onto the egg coffee because it had been recommended here (Hamlay?)

Yes I'd tried the egg coffee. Has more the consistency of a custard and as its cold on the top goes well with the hot coffee.

Can't say I'd have it daily over regular coffee but as a weekly treat is nice. 8-)

Mine was served with a cinnamon stick so in typical northern ruffian way I used it to stir it all up :?

Strangely quiet this morning. Mind you the roads are quiet too.
I guess we’ve missed the before work rush at 09:15
