Coppies House Pasta & Steak

Post by Papa G » Thu Dec 08, 2011 2:11 pm

Went out for lunch today and tried a new shop managed by young Thai couple. Not knowing what to expect I ordered the Pork Steak (58bt) and seafood salad (42).
The pork fillet was a little on the small side, but I'm not complaining for 58bt it's (I think ) a good value and makes for a lite lunch. The salad was large and I could have probably split it with my lunch buddy. In the end it was an excellent meal for 100bt (not including drinks). Looking forward for a return trip for the pasta offerings.

Anyways sounds a good snack place to relax in after being in Immigration 8-)

Funny that ain't it.

It would be nice if they served coffee. The decor and furniture makes for a comfortable setting and sipping on a cup or two would make it worth a visit. I think young man in the pic might have mentioned something serving coffee in the future.

I can thoroughly recommend Coppies, great find Papa. ++)(*
Really nice young Thai couple who have put some thought and effort into making a shophouse a nice place to go and eat.
The pasta dishes are small but that's a good thing in my book as they are so nice that you can have more than one.
The steak diners are excellent value 59 baht and as I don't think they have an alcohol license, if you are wanting beer they will go next door and get it for you so a large Leo costs 50 baht!
It's all good. <:>

I love the joint, I've eaten there 4 times and it's been sap everytime, pepper chicken with vegies and fries for 58bt is big value as well as the pasta dishes, and if your really hungry just ask and they will put extra on for a charge, and the joints clean as a whistle. Top spot <:>

No, it's Thai style. Perhaps you'll be better off at the Book House or Irish Clock
