Directions Needed To Nutty Park from Airport/Nong Sim.

How do I get to Nutty Park from say Nong Sim, Or The Airport, Not knowing Udon that well DIRECTIONS Needed please......

You know Nittayao Road (old Big C and the LG service centre where you got your vacuum cleaner hose) well continue on to Posri Road then over the railway tracks and before AEK Udon take a right on to Tongyai Road (where UD town is). Continue on to the traffic lights then take a left on to Prajacksimlapacom Road. Continue on down till you have Soi Sampan on the right then if possible do a u-turn there and head back up Prajacksimlapacom Road till you see Nutty Park on the left. (Approximately at blue marker on map.)

Very easy, exit airport, crossing to other side of road turning right, away from ring rd. simply follow that around, bearing hard left, the only way you can go without u-turning. Keep on that till the traffic light. Turn right at the light, ‘T’ intersection, onto Si Chumchuen Rd. stay on that for a couple traffic lights, till you reach MakKhaeng, turn left, might be where the prison is.

Stay on MakKhaeng again for couple traffic lights, crossing SiSuk and Phosi rd, till you see Thung Si Muang, large park area on your left. Large red Singer sign on your right. At the traffic light, turn right, Nutty Park is on this rd after a couple traffic lights, then the circle. Just on the other side of circle, bearing a wee bit left, continue straight. First traffic light, the traffic light forever, if catching for full time, it’s 120 seconds / 5 pont intersection. The next traffic light is where Central Plaza is.

Continue on toward train station, pass soi saphan, where Top Mansion, Irish Clock and Nobi’s is located and just pass soi saphan slow down and you will see 1st lit restaurant, UP2U, pictured above and recommended, also an overhead sign “Nutty Park”. Just pass that walkway entrance, is a small drive, turning in left, back to parking area. YOU ARE THTHERE. From the parking area, Diablos on your right, then it’s hooks around, up to UP2U. Diablo’s for ribs, tex-mex. UP2U, for thai, brit western (meat pies / bangers / burger, possibly fish / chips), since Steve and Mali have taken over the reins from Kat. Was good when Kat ran it, then I think her sis took over, went down a bit, now run by one of the best. Comfy place, that you don't feel claustrophobic and sitting in a shoe box.

fortunately some wise souls actually take the negative advice, and avoid soi saphan / DN / Nutty Park. though sadly, there is one or two things worth the venture, but at a safer, less hassle, congested time of day.

a map with the obvious landmarks. the street cutting from wattana rd (nong sim / BHC to Nutty Park) is soi saphan, one street pass the turn for Cental Plaza turn, not on map, but between Central plaza rd and road parallel to train tracks. can go either way, depending on traffic.

i was actually over there a few times at the beginning of the month, those 200B pizzas from white-box are amazing value :clap:
not where i was sitting unfortunately, and while on the rare occasion i really enjoy a couple large bottles of LEO, it's those obigatory lady
drinks that run-up the tab. :lol: if youget munchies one of the girls can run and get you a menu from anywhere . actually kind of pleasant
now with a little breeze in the evening . i was pretending it was an off-shore breeze blowing in from sea : RBM's place seemed to be
full with retired S.A.S officers but there are some other quiet spots over there to sit. please regale us with your experience when over. :clap:
