no way will you get rich....but dont make it look flash, that will keep people from comming in thinking that your expensive
simple comfortable seating, keep the menu simple too, no one is looking for tenderloin beef steaks with blue cheese. burgers fries ect will keep people happy and you wont need to spend a fortune.whatever you do dont put up a flag, that will denote you only want people from a curtain country there.dont pack the place with girls as the wives wont like it either, try to get family to work for you,its a benifit for them and you.as for giving a job to a katoy ,not good idea either, some guys are not keen on them and they don't have the best rep for honesty. try pay as you go system then theres no mistakes will bills .keep your hours resonable, its a village, simple breakfast and close early enough so you still have a life and dont end up as a alchoholic.and close one day a week so your wife can do what thais do

: .another idea is keeping some extra stock to sell on,sausages, bacon, pies ect if you see john at cherm chim he can help, gives you discount for a bit of bulk buying. saves the guys a trip into town just to get bacon and put a few baht on it. make it a social meeting point not a bar. good luck
